Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Announces Mop-Up Exam for 18,000 UTME Candidates.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is set to conduct a mop-up examination for more than 18,000 candidates on 6th August 2021. See more details below

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has postponed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for over 18, 000 students throughout the country to take place on August 6.

Candidates who are eligible for the mop-up examination have received SMS and emails from JAMB. From August 1st, concerned candidates should print their mop-up exam slip using the instructions below.

The board equally stated that no candidate whose result has been duly released will be rescheduled for another examination contrary to the sponsored fake news being circulated on the social (and a few mischievous conventional) media.

The candidates for the mop-up are candidates who experienced biometric verification challenges, those who genuinely missed the just-concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination as a result of a clash with this year’s NABTEB exam, and those that had genuine technical issues.
