The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has issued a vacation notice to all hall of residence occupants for the 2019/2020 academic session.
The University of Maiduguri’s Student Affairs Division wishes to inform all students that they must vacate their hall of residence on or before Saturday, June 20, 2021.
Before leaving school for the lengthy holiday, he or she must submit the following to his or her hall Officer:
- A mattress for university.
- His or her Room’s Key
- Any other University property he or she may have.
Every student is also reminded that before leaving the residence halls, he or she must remove all of his or her personal items. NO UNIVERSITY STAFF WORKING IN STUDENTS HALL OF RESIDENCE SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY LEFT IN THE HOSTEL BY STUDENTS DURING LONG VACATIONS, it is emphasized to every student.
Students are also reminded that before leaving any hostel room, the last person to leave should SWITCH OFF ALL SOCKETS SWITCHES AND FANS. Please allow us to assist in the protection of university property because it is ours.
Students who still have academic programs to complete during the long vacation should request that their respective Heads of Department submit a list of such students to the Student Affairs Division for temporary hostel accommodations, and those who are approved to stay should immediately move to Male and Female Titanic Hall of Residence.
As each student travels home for the holidays, the Student Affairs Division wishes them safe travels.
