The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced the date for the continuation of academic activities for the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.
Resumption of AKSU
The Senate of Akwa Ibom State University made the following resolutions at its 24th Emergency Meeting on Tuesday, June 15, 2021:
- Exams for the second semester of 2019/2020 will begin on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, and end on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
- On Monday, July 5, 2021, all new students should report to their respective campuses and begin registration for the 2020/2021 academic year on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
- On Monday, July 12, 2021, all returning students should report to their respective campuses and begin registration.
- The first day of classes for new students is Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
- Returning students will begin classes on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
All students and staff members are advised to adhere strictly to the above decisions of Senate.
