Salem University, Lokoja is a privately owned university located in Lokoja, Kogi State. The name “Salem” means PEACE, and it is symbolized and strengthened by the practice of mutual exchange of gifts. Salem University is a product of the educational vision of Archbishop Sam Amaga, the founder and presently the Archbishop of Salem International Christian Center, the global international base of Foundation Faith Church Worldwide, an offshoot of Sam Amiga Ministries International.
