For fear of a security breach, the Kano state government has declared the immediate closure of Bagauda Technical College.

The Kano State Government has ordered the immediate closure of Bagauda Technical College in response to what it described as alarming security reports and the need to protect the lives of the school’s students and staff.

Following alarming security reports, we hereby declare the immediate closure of Bagauda Technical College in order to protect the lives of the college’s students and employees. “We urge parents and guardians to immediately evacuate their children from the school while they await further instructions.”

I wish to express appreciation to the state government parents and guardians for their unflinching support and cooperation on government’s policies and directives especially on security-related matters” the commissioner stated while addressing newsmen.
