Hon. Ayodele Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye, Chairman, Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area Razak Ajala has emphasized the importance of enlisting retired teachers to contribute their wealth of knowledge in order to promote education in the country.
He reassured stakeholders that high-quality programs will enhance education at the grassroots level.
In Mushin, Lagos, he addressed at an Education Stakeholders Summit.

Parents’ Forum, teachers, school heads, and retired teachers were among the stakeholders.
The work of government at all levels will be easier, according to Ajala, if stakeholders are involved in education.

“All stakeholders, the teachers, the parents’ forum, the retired teachers, school heads  and all have roles to play. Therefore, they will make the work of government at every level easier. With their active participation, the bottom-up development approach/strategy can be utilised,” he said

He praised the stakeholders for being effective and seeking solutions to challenges they were facing.
Mrs. Olufemi Akinlude, the Education Secretary of the Mushin Local Government Education Authority, stated that education is a constant process and that improving education requires painstaking and collaborative efforts.

She, on the other hand, praised Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his efforts to improve education in the state, saying that his government has had an influence on all schools.
