This is to alert all Ekiti State University (EKSU) undergraduate students that the institution’s management has declared the registration deadline for the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic session. The management of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti has decided that all students must finish registration for the first and second semesters of the 2019/2020 academic session without punishment by 11.59 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2021; while registration with penalty must be completed by 11.59 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021. This decision was taken during an interactive session with university students on Friday, May 21, 2021, which was attended by representatives of the University Management and Senate, as well as other stakeholders such as sub-Deans and Level Coordinators. The Students’ Union Government, Executive members of various Students’ Associations at Faculty, and other students were present to represent the students. The Students’ Union Government, Executive members of several Students’ Associations at the Faculty and Departmental levels, as well as Class Governors, represented the students. As a result of the foregoing, it has been agreed that the University Portal will remain open for registration and revalidation until 11:59 p.m. on June 7, 2021, when it will be permanently closed. As a result, all impacted students should take advantage of this opportunity to register as soon as possible. Parents and guardians should make sure that their children pay all statutory fees and charges so that they can register properly. At the forum, Prof. Edward Olanipekun, Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to a stable academic calendar as agreed by the University Senate, stressing that the university will not extend the 2019/2020 academic calendar any further.
