This is to inform all candidates who applied for Supplementary admission to the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) (i.e. MB.BS, LTT, and PMT programmes) that the institution’s management has released the schedule for their post-UTME screening exercise. The Supplementary Post-UTME Screening Exercise for applicants who sat for the 2020/2021 UTME and have converted to the University’s newly approved programs (i.e. MB.BS, LTT, and PMT) is set to take place on the following dates: The University CBT Centre is located on the Obanla Campus. Candidates who have successfully moved to the new programs on the FUTA JAMB Portal but have yet to register for the Post-UTME Screening on the FUTA website should do so by Friday, June 4th, 2021, when the FUTA Website Portal for supplemental Post-UTME Screening registration will end. After registration, affected candidates should print the slip and present same at the venue on the day of the Screening.Candidates will be personally contacted on the specific time for the Screening.Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to COVID-19 protocols while on Campus for the Screening.
For the 2020/2021 Academic Session, applications are invited from adequately qualified applicants for admission to the following recently approved Department in the School of Health and Health Technology. REGISTRATION FOR MBBS POST UTME SCREENING: MATTERS ARISING It has been brought to our attention that candidates who wish to register in order to be eligible to participate in the newly launched MBBS PROGRAMME’s post-UTME screening have been unable to do so. The following facts should be remembered by the general public: The University has done everything possible to ensure a smooth registration procedure– FUTA has no influence over the process of changing universities or courses. FUTA does not collect fees for changing colleges or courses because it is an exclusive duty of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board is in charge of that process. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is in the process of allowing the required protocols on their portal, which will allow interested applicants to make the necessary revisions to enable them register for the MBBS PROGRAMME Post-UTME screening.
