The National Youth Service Corps chapter in Gombe State has warned corps members to avoid all types of social vices.

Ndako Bida, the Camp Director, expressed this during a Friday morning meditation with the corps members at the camp.

This was made clear in a statement issued by the chapter, in which the Camp Director also urged corps members to be of excellent behavior.

“Alhaji Ndako instructed them to be their brothers’ and sisters’ keeper by looking out for one another, calling on them to reject any type of social vices and be of good behaviour throughout the service year,” according to the statement.

Bid also read out some of the comments made by corps members and highlighted the topics raised during the meeting.

“He, however, reminded them that the Camp is a temporary facility provided for the purpose of the Orientation Course, and that Management, with the assistance of the State Government, would continue to renovate and improve on the facilities to provide camp participants with a conducive atmosphere,” according to the statement.
