Interswitch Group, a digital payment and commerce business, is offering free tutorial lessons to aspiring and current students for the upcoming JAMB/UTME exams. This comes after the sale of forms for the 2021 JAMB registration was extended until May 29, 2021.
The tutorials will begin a few weeks before the exam and will be available only to applicants who register on JAMB’s website using Interswitch enabled platforms including Quickteller MobileApp/Web, Quickteller Paypoint (Agents), and Interswitch WebPAY. The tutorials will be held virtually around the country.
During the tutorials, Interswitch will hold 84 virtual sessions covering ten courses, including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature in English, Government, Commerce, Economics, and Accounting.
“We are devoted to building and helping the community via education; thus, we have offered to offer free tutorials to prospective and existing JAMB/UTME candidates,” says Olawale Akanbi, Group Head, Quickteller Marketing. The tutorials’ goal is to better equip students and assist them in preparing for their preferred future.”
The deadline for the 2021 JAMB registration was originally set for May 15, 2021, but it was later pushed back to May 29, 2021.
Parents and guardians of candidates intending to register for the 2021 UTME can now get their e-PINs from enabled Interswitch platforms such as Quickteller Mobile App/Web, Quickteller Paypoint (Agents), and Interswitch WebPAY on JAMB’s website, as well as through payment using Interswitch Paydirect at any bank branch nationwide.
Since 2018, the Federal Government has mandated that the registration fee be N3,500. However, at the time of registration, each candidate will be required to pay an additional N500 for a study pack provided by CBT Centres. As a result, each potential candidate will be required to pay a total of N4,000.
The JAMB/UTME examination for 2021 will now take place from June 19 to July 3.
